Dr. Maryam Karami

Dr. Maryam is a dedicated dentist committed to providing gentle and comprehensive dental care for children.

In 1995, she obtained her Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery. After that, following her passion, she completed her Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1998 in Iran.

From 1998 until 2016, Dr Karami had her own practice dedicated to treating children and teenagers. During her time as a Professor at the Pediatric Dentistry Department of the Azad University in Iran, she engaged in many research projects, leading to the publication of over 30 articles in peer-reviewed dental journals. After moving to Canada, she successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Process and received her certification as a general
dentist in Canada in 2016.

She is now a member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association. In order to keep herself up to date with the latest dental technologies, she often attends numerous seminars.

In her spare time, Maryam enjoys painting, doing photography as well as spending time outdoors with her family and their dog, Happy.
